Can you read my chats?

No — we don't read your chats. Your conversations are encrypted at rest with a per-user key, and access is limited to the authenticated request path and a few audited, automated steps such as moderation and titling. Our staff see account metadata, never your chat content, and your chats are never used to train any model.

What is Ask Tone?

Ask Tone sends one question to several AI models at once and returns their answers side-by-side, or synthesized into a single best answer that leads with where the models agree and names where they diverge. It is your AI board of advisors in one place.

Which models can I use?

You pick a board of up to four models, depending on your plan — frontier models like Claude, GPT, and Gemini, plus several capable standard and budget options. The available models are managed at runtime, so the lineup can change over time.

How does pricing work?

Access is paid, and your usage is shown as a share of your monthly allowance. Each request uses an amount that depends on the mode and the models you choose. Your monthly usage resets each billing period, and any top-ups you buy never expire. We never show token counts.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — new accounts can try Ask Tone free for 14 days, with no card required. The trial includes a set of fast models and enough usage to see how a multi-model board works; the frontier models and Council are part of the paid plans. There is still no permanent free tier — every plan is paid, which is how the product stays ad-free and independent.

What is Council mode?

Council is available on Pro, Team, and Executive: five specialist voices each weigh in from a different angle, then a Chairman reconciles them into a decision-ready answer — what to do first, what to do next, and what to defer.

Is there a Code workspace?

Yes. The Code workspace applies the same multi-model approach to code, with a specialist Code Council and an in-browser sandbox to run Python or JavaScript snippets. You can upload source files for context.

Can I use Ask Tone with a team?

Yes. A Team workspace gives your members a shared space and a pooled usage budget, billed per seat. A Team workspace is a separate purchase from a personal plan, and the two usage pools never mix.

Can I get a refund?

There is no commitment — you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Top-up purchases are non-refundable. You are charged for completed work only, and any model that fails during a request is refunded automatically. UK and EU consumers also have a statutory 14-day cancellation right, set out in the Refunds Policy.
